surprise visit

I enjoyed a surprise brief meeting with two of my grandchildren this evening. We met up at the grocery store and enjoyed looking at the early Christmas decorations there. There's never enough time to spend with the little ones.

holidays with family

Looking forward to the upcoming Thanksgiving holidays and spending time with my family. Hoping to do some special activities with the little ones. If the weather is nice maybe we can plant pansies then go to the playground. The kickoff of the Christmas season is when Santa arrives at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. After that we can put up the Christmas tree. Will the gifts remain wrapped and under the tree 'til Christmas morning?
